Gunna Be A Long Month

Looks like I'm still not allowed to win, at least for now. Put in a long session today almost all at 100nl because it's easier to get tables up and stay on more at a time but ran like crap. Didn't even play particularily well but still well enough to get my money in as a big favorite in almost all of the big pots that I played...too bad nothing held up and I ended the session 12 buy-ins under EV lol.

Oh well, there's always FPP's!

Could be a long end of the year....

  2. HOLY CRAP, I've never seen a -12 EV buy in in just about 10k hands. How did you not break your computer....

  3. Hey Frosty!
I feel games are really tough theses days at 100 and 200NL. I feel a lot of players that are regs at 200 and sometimes plays midstakes are playing at 100 in the last few weeks.

I understand what you are going throug, I had a tough month of oct, saved by a nice 2K upswing in the last 3 days.... but now november is somewhat like yours. Its hard to have any kind of momentum / upswing in theses games lately...

Hope games will get better in 2012! :)

  4. Dwbh: Yep, the swings are constant and endless but as long as you just try to play your best that's all you can really do. There's obviously going to be that fear of "am I just not good enough anymore" or "are the games so bad now they're unbeatable" but when you book a losing session due to EV there's not much to sweat.

Effects: lol, believe me I was frustrated but breaking my computer would put me out another 30 buy-ins :)

deepak: Thanks for the kind words buddy, appreciate it...even if you just want to blatantly plug your sites you went about it the right way lol.

MaskedMan: Meh, the games are always slow towards the end of the year but I don't really notice a difference in difficulty from this year and last year tbh. The games at 100nl are actually pretty soft from what I've seen and since I'm getting in way more volume at 100 than midstakes I'll probably continue to play there to maximize my hours and hopefully profit.

  5. That graph looks pretty damn ugly... :-&

Since I had -4 Stack EV in a 4k Hand Session this weekend I just have to multiply that feeling by 10 (I play NL25) to know how it must have felt. Not a nice thought...

Hope you will run better again soon!
